Matside Coaching Course

Stephanie attended a matside coaching course at Samurai Judo Club in Kidderminster at the weekend.

Officially the main aim of the Matside course is to deliver, discuss and work with the requirements of a BJA coach when coaching matside. This will enable coaches to confidently prepare players pre, during and post matside at club, area and national level competition.

Unofficially it’s throw them before they throw you!

It was a very hot day but Stephanie learnt a lot she can bring to the competitions to help the members of the club.
