BJC Open, Kettering
The BJC Open at Kettering is a great event to test yourself. About 1hr 10 mins drive from Birmingham. This year they had six mats on and around 400 players entered.
Joshua managed a Silver – his first national BJC event.
Ben was in a large group that got split into four groups over two mats. He won his first two fights then walked onto a throw losing his third. He’s moved up a weight / age category so it will be a bit tougher now.
Bethany did really in only her 3rd competition. She lost her first two contests against tough competition and won her third fight. A few tears hit the mat but she got through it.
